Editorial Review

Los Angeles' most famous fast food landmark. Sorry, world's oldest McDonald's is in Downey. Possibly as old as the men serving hickory burgers or slightly different Apple Pan burgers to the gathering of Westside high schoolers, families, and faraway fans at the u-shaped countertop. Small wooden house bears no frills but a wait. True blue classic diner from '47 with few choices but thick, savory burgers, too much lettuce and delicious fruit pies.
