Miami seemingly "fuses" or puts “modern twists” on everything. But some things are delicious without the Miamification. Case in point: Ninety-nine percent of the food served at this resto comes from the marine waters between the Florida coast, Central America, and parts of South America (dubbed Area 31 by the UN). Grilled fish, raw fish, primi to accent the fish, and hearty portions of secondi all have their own real estate on the menu. Wish alum E. Michael Reidt took over the kitchen when John Critchley moved to DC; there is a master sommelier and mixologist in house as well. All this with views of the bay, the river, and two infinity pools, whether dining inside a large, natural-hued designer space, outside on the massive terrace, or poolside in a cabana.
