The towering Aria resort-casino is the glitzy centerpiece of the skyscrapers-on-the-Strip City Center. High-end eco-awareness comes from the number of green features, as well as artwork from the likes of Henry Moore, Jenny Holzer, and Maya Lin. The casino is done in dark wood, polished marble, gleaming metal, and amber lights, with as many bars and restaurants as tables and slots. Oversized rooms offer high-tech touchscreen technology for everything from room service to wake-up calls; a menu of suites offer separate living areas, private conference rooms, wet bars, and the sky suites come with private elevators and (environmentally friendly) limousine rides. Big names like Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Michael Mina, and Sirio Maccioni headline the half-dozen restaurants, with the Light Group putting together the Aria's flagship club, Haze. A spa and salon provide on-site primping and shops such as Louis Vuitton and Tiffany are just a few steps away in the Crystals shopping complex.
