Adjacent Dupont mansions circa 1900 get extreme make over. Two become one, nine months later a toe-headed B&B is born. Acronym means four-poster beds, organic breakfast buffet, jacuzzi tubs for two. Majestic balustrades lead upwards to apartment-size suites that channel dead gay icons like Katherine Hepburn, Leonardo Da Vinci. Gallery space shows (good) local art with new shows opening at New York pace. Crying kids banned. Exhausted couples regroup among real live actors, artists.
