Recalls an earlier, smokier, jazzier, Italian-er downtown. Solid coal-fired pies with thick, oily, chewy crusts and lightly blackened bottoms. No slices, but makes great takeout. Serves reputable pastas and salads, but it's foolish to pass up on a pepperoni pizza this good.
