Just when you thought the Lower East Side had waved a white flag to bridge and tunnel fanfare--along came a West Coast believer who turned it right back around. Greg Armas, owner of Scout in Los Angeles, started this men's and women's shop with the intent to curate historical elements and exciting new fashion in one dimly-lit space. The result is a heavily edited selection of goods with a distinct nod to the American West and obscure international labels. In other words, the Jersey girls won't know what hit them.
