BlackBook Lowdown

In this glamorously sleek restaurant, the wine cellar is a glass-and-steel skyscraper ascended by alcoholic angels. High-rolling customers order bottles that cost as much as a new Honda using wireless tableside remotes. Charlie Palmer's prix-fixe seasonal menu gracefully combines savory and sweet. Get a seat close to the wine tower for the best view of the flying sommeliers.

Truly lives up to the Hype!

From the visuals when you walk in, to the heart palpitations I experienced on the decent into this restaurant...you will not find another restaurant that bombards your senses like this one! From sight, sound, smell, feel, and taste...its like art for all your senses. This is truly a unique experience that must be had. The 7 course Pre-fix flows so smoothly over your palate, every bite takes you closer to ecstasy. You must make reservations well in advance, and make sure to ask for the booths that have the high back that almost wrap around, the most intimate dining experience I've ever had. Service is very unobtrusive but, your glasses will never empty unless you want it so. Make sure to come early as the pace which you receive each course is very relaxed(expect to spend 2-3 hrs at the least)... but a must to experience it all in its entirety. Service here is very upscale and unobtrusive. This is definitely geared to gourmands, don't bring the kids, don't bring anyone who is cheap, anyone who can't appreciate a slow and drawn out dinner, or anyone who doesn't have an appreciation for classically seasoned gourmet french cuisine...It will ruin your experience. Also,If you aren't dressed like you're somebody, don't expect to be treated like you're anybody here. I truly can't forget the scallops, sea bass, and foie gras(Which I usually never care for).
