The doorman is grade A d-bag who wears an Ed Hardy thong underneath his True Religion jeans. Remember when the doorman was classy and well-dressed? Always looking to set the proper vibe, and pack the place with big spenders, yet not turning away well dressed clientele. well, this guy should be fixing Chevy's, or cutting sirloins in Jersey. If he's picking the crowd, I'll pass lol. 1 Oak is 100 times better.
So, because you got turned away at the door, you're hating on the club. Then you say 1 Oak is better, but you admitted to not having been admitted into Avenue. So how can you judge? Avenue is a sick place which I attribute greatly to the hard door. Keep it up, Wass.
I agree with Wass, The hard door sets the vibe for the lounge especially since it just opened. People are reading about this place called "Avenue" in magazines and the media because of who is going there. Tenjune was the same way when it opened up. I've tried to get into Avenue a few times and I was turned down. I just ended up walking around the corner to 1 oak. Scott recognizes me so he lets me through. Wass, are you still at Marquee ? Solo.
I have a feeling Avenue and 1 Oak being so close to each other will benefit Noah, Jason and Scott Sartiano. Alex, Tenjune doesn't have a chance. I hope the best for all the owners on a successful year. Solo
