Editorial Review

Moroccan gourmet showstopper, thanks to wunderkind chef/owner and Marrakech native Mourad Lahlou. Paint scheme a tad garish but it works. Dried fruits, olives, preserved lemon and almonds are winning flavor combos. Couscous steamed eight hours, chicken bastilla, saffron guinea hen, rhubarb galette dessert all rule. Five-course tasting menu a good deal at $39. Worth the drive, so bring your peoples and come hungry.
