Bandidas Taqueria

Editorial Review

Sure, there’s nachos, margaritas, red and white sangria and maybe the cheapest pints on the Drive, but the heart of Bandidas is inexpensive vegetarian and vegan tacos and burritos (named for the owners’ grannies) with chipotle tofu, roasted pineapple, spicy breaded walnuts or the Ronnie Russell’s yam, avocado and pumpkin seed combo. Eclectic décor, from bikes above the door to bathrooms designed by competing friends. People-watch from the coveted rocking chair table and kick that cold with wicked tortilla soup.
