On the arty-bobo rue Charonne, Anne-Catherine Bley's soup bar serves up six fresh soups per day, along with salads, cheese and dessert. Her website will let you know what's coming up, so you can decide before you get there between the pumpkin hazelnut and the lentil with Morteau sausage. It's one of the few quick and healthy joints where you can also drink wine, making it possible to have a crazy cheap bite with friends before bar-hopping nearby. Her cookbook for sale has all the recipes, and they actually work. Closed Sunday.
