BlackBook Lowdown

Maybe white can't dance, but it sure can get down on some sardines wrapped in pancetta. Former Bar Blanc adds Bistro to its name, gets more casual to reflect the a'changing times. Menu is market-driven, classes up burgers and frites. Interior went more rustic, too, with earth tones warming up that blanc slate. Reclaimed grain sacks, burlap curtains make for intimate touches, while subliminally whispering something like "sustainability."

good food, but all the white kind of got to me by the end of the meal.
