Only 11 indoor seats (though a daytime arrival means sun-dappled drinking on the small patio) at an upscale bar where most people will probably be whispering. For the fun of it, or because some celeb or hotshot has just strolled in. Small bites, but rather rich: potted meats, escargot. Good if you don't want to splash out on a full meal at Bouchon upstairs.
