French-born, New York-based chef Daniel Boulud's eatery at the Mandarin Oriental is just another reason for the French to hate the English. Bar Boulud is the culinary god's nod to leaner times - a casual wine bar focused on Burgundy and boulud's native Rhône Valley. The menu is classic bistro. He's even stolen away master charcutier Gilles Verot from Paris. C'est la guerre!
