No longer functioning historic ‘50s hotel once the stomping grounds of Nat King Cole and was bossa nova ground zero maintains decadence even after renovation. Guests of the hotel are now nightclub patrons of all industries including the drag queen circuit, who dance to ‘80s music, Motown hits, between wood walls, striped wallpaper, old red leather couches, plants everywhere. DJ booth’s situated on former check-in counter, with hotel-keys shelf it’s backdrop. One main dance floor with corridors leading to other rooms gives it all a sense of underground den, while giant posters of young Brigitte Bardot and Sophia Loren preside over it all.
