A reassuringly less posh number than it's sister 'restaurante', not so sempliche, Bar trattoria is a relative rest for your wallet. It's all about stools, and relaxed rustic Italian feeding. You can choose to perch at the bar for some informal up-market snacking or make your way to the dining room for more substantial dishes, but beware unattractive hard edge seating! Feast on platefuls of silky cured italian meats, or try the home-made fluffy pillows of gnocchi with duck ragu. Wine list is surprisingly affordable. A welcome break from bond street shopping.
