The molecular mixology trend has officially made its way to Canada and head bartender and owner Frankie Solarik is its crown prince. Expect to have the palette blown off your tongue with his extra-terrestrial concoctions. Solarik named his apothecary after himself--someone who treats drinks with the same respect and resources as a master chef. Some drinks come with a wino's version of ravioli, a gelatin bubble filled with liqueur for a gushing flavor explosion (martini) and others are hickory smoked, in house, and on the spot (Vanilla Hickory Smoked Manhattan, for a measly $45). Recession menu will make your avant-garde buzz that much easier.
