Pumping and pushin' five decades of traditional mexillence, with the time-worn waitresses to prove it. Tasty margarita specials offset demented sized portions of sopes, tamales, huevos rancheros and cocido. Come hungry. DJ-supplemented Margarita Wednesdays can often be Echo Park's best jam. Hard-to-find entrance makes this neighborhood jewel a secret favorite place for hood transplants in $200 skull shirts to start a long night. Lucky no one has to walk, or wobble, far.
