Barrelhouse Flat

Editorial Review

Don’t put this bar in a box based on its Lincoln Park location. With Violet Hour vet Stephen Cole and Greg Butera of Aviary at the helm, the bar is set high in regards to the cocktail selection, which happens to be about 70 drinks strong. The snack menu is anything but predictable (see: daily cotton candy) and is exceedingly meat-heavy (pig face poutine, sweetbreads, even ham on the deviled eggs). Step back in time upstairs with red velvet highback chairs, low lighting, chevron wood flooring and an old school juke box.
