Barrio Urban Taqueria

Editorial Review

If you're looking for a dumpy taqueira with a picture menu behind the register, you're at the wrong place. This taco-focused joint is trendy and modern, and the kitchen uses handmade corn tortillas to wrap up beer-battered fish, beef tongue, baked chicken and more. Aside from tacos, Barrio has the carne asadas, fajitas and other entrees you'd come to expect at a taqueria, plus margaritas whipped up with fresh lime juice and a beer menu filled exclusively with brews from Chicago and Mexico.
