Basta Pasta

business thumbnail

Editorial Review

If Toyota made Alfa Romeos. Italian dishes performed with Japanese grace and efficiency. Tight dining room done up with modern art, behind open kitchen and hopping little bar. Mostly avoids fusiony weirdness to focus on creative classics. Grilled squid with roasted tomato and curry risotto to start. Cheese wheel maximizes the dairy goodness of your spaghetti. Even does tiramisu for dessert. Good stuff. Just ask neighbor Tim Robbins.
