Only one thing on the menu, but it's a pretty damn good thing: cheesesteak. Upscale cheesesteak, minus the pretension this oxymoron seems destined for. Dressed with long-marinated grilled onions and a snappy pepper-based relish, served on a Kaiser roll fit for a king. Purists fume at lack of authenticity (no Whiz, no hoagie bread), but shut their traps at first bite. Proof positive that owner Gary Thompson did his homework.
