Robert Newmark's Notting Hill institution, known to its pretty celeb locals as BBB. Fabulous Old Georgian mansion house. Candle-lit vaulted basements, with fireplaces. Opulent, faux Versailles furnishings. The Chapel, Crypt, Gallery and Scullery are all interconnected by walkways, tunnels, bridges and stairways. Bar has excellent, decadent cocktails, and head chef, Sophie Wright, turns some nice tricks in the kitchen. Service is appalling.
