Beat Kitchen

Editorial Review

Possibly Chicago's most underrated venue, Beat Kitchen serves up a varying mish-mash of local bands and hard-bitten out-of-towners nightly whose mystery vans look increasingly out of place on Roscoe Village's SUV-lined streets. But it's the once-in-a-while surprise bookings like the Supersuckers and Mudhoney that keep it on the industry map. As a neighborhood hang, its ultra-comfy front bar has great food and cute bartenders
