What happens when you mix a '60s hair salon with an indie-kids bar of today? A proverbial mouthful of Aqua Net. Used to be fairly low key, with strong pours and bric-a-brac galore, but the back room renovation, '80s-inclined DJs, and a $10 manicure/drink combo has brought the L train hordes. Multi-taskers settle themselves under a hair dryer, nails out for a mani, while slurping something fruity through a straw. Good dancing.
