New York » Bar » Brooklyn » Beer Garden
Not the most creative name, but gets the job done. There are long, wooden tables (to fit six) and there're beers, selected by the owner with the kind of obsessive precision you've come to expect with any kind of Park Slope artisanal-anything. There're also small bites (charcuterie and cheeses) to pair with your brew, the draft selection of which changes daily. Room is cozy and dim, just as much a date spot as a see-how-many-before-you-stumble-onto-Seventh spot. Those who show up and (try to) order a Bud Light should be summarily ass-kicked—it's bars like these and dedication to craft like this that make life worth living. Among Crooklyn's Finest, call ahead to see if they're cooking up any tasting menus, it'll be well worth shelling out.
