Delightful all singing no dancing combination of fine southern French food and professionally sung opera classics in this city restaurant. London sibling to the famous Parisian innovation, Bel Canto serves up nice choices: from the £35 'discovery' menu to the flusher £55 gastronomic menu. The decor is charming in a warm brasserie style and let's face it, Puccini and Mozart have never tasted so good, accompanied by such an interesting wine list. Opera lieder and arias sung by wonderfully talented opera student singers steal the show with some striking performances. But, be prepared to pay up for the singsong.
