Belmont Barbershop

Editorial Review

Nouveau traditional East Van barbershop, with artistic sensibility, like master barber Delbert Fishbook's website. Cream and red antique leather chairs pair with simple black mirrors, and a bold graphic floor. Twin Peaks touches like antlers and taxidermy are too-cool-for-kitsch, instead making this a laid-back den that exudes Don Draper, complete with vintage accesories, old books, club chairs and "pool hall rules." Hot towel shaves (also $25, by appointment) are perfect before an even hotter date. Cash only.
