Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard

This non-profit contemporary art space for Bermudian creatives contrasts with the historical building at the Dockyard that forms the exterior. Exhibits of original artwork like paintings, sculptures, jewelery, and pottery by local artists change every 6 weeks, and there's six resident artists; Lynn Morrel, Chesly Trott, Jonah Jones, Julie Hastings-Smith, Angela Gentleman and Suzie Lowe, who are always eager to talk about their work. More enthusiastic voyagers can sign up for the workshops on every subject you'd ever want to know about artwise, from palette knife painting to gilding. The Print Gallery sells more affordable versions of the real thing, along with notecards, books and calendars.
