Editorial Review

Boutique Eat Shop enters Chelsea gallery fray, brings "by artist for artist" ethos. Rotating installations join quilted-wood bar, reclaimed-bottle chandelier, needlepoint bathroom doors. Creativity extends to kitchen, where New American menu gets tricked out with global touches. House burger adds truffle brioche and harissa aioli, pan-seared salmon finishes with cranberry-Riesling sauce. Cocktails divide between "classique" and "unique," the latter highlighted by green tea-infused vodka MC Ultra. Patrick Duffy has left, but scene retains mix of young and old, straight and gay, fashionable and super-fashionable.
