Originally designed for a Chinatown clientele, but reasonable rates have drawn in broader array of guests. Friendly staff speaks German and Spanish, on top of Chinese (and English). Gets a share of savvy hipsters, too. Over a hundred rooms so has decent availability, comfortable and modern with nice bamboo flooring. Ask for a higher-floor spot because the views are startlingly good. Central location is excellent for cheap dinners, bubble tea, flip-flops, LES benders, Soho, Nolita, etc.
