Big Nate’s Barbecue

business thumbnail

Editorial Review

Hole in the wall near freeway off-ramp owned by NBA Hall of Famer Nate Thurmond, who was the man back when the Warriors could make the playoffs. Propers for smoky-flavored Memphis pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. Arguably best in the city, but SF sucks when it comes to good low-n-slow BBQ. Place itself has little OG soul: just a counter, couple of tables, bare walls. Um, we’ll have it to go, I guess.
