Billy Bishop Legion, Branch 176

Editorial Review

Escape Kits Beach through a hidden time-warp that should be a beer commercial. Named for Canada's WW1 flying ace, museum-worthy memorabilia and clientele fill this divinely photogenic serviceman's haunt (it's literally haunted) where skinnyjean mafia kids sometimes play darts beside rad granddads – and oh, the conversations! Bouffanted pianist Bea leads old-timey sing-a-longs on Saturdays… but "no sad songs," please! Two ironclad rules: have a member sign you in, and always remove your hat. Respect.
