Located in the same dark, subterranean bowels where the latest Batman motorcycled in hot pursuit of the Joker, there sits the legendary Billy Goat Tavern. Serving up “cheezborgers” and other grilled meats in a toasted bun, this underground eatery became a popular hangout for newspaper reporters from the Trib and the Sun-Times back in the day. If you’re new in town, grab a Coke or a beer and ask the bartender about a curse, the Cubs and a billy goat.
