BlackBook Lowdown

Basement level blues club hosting blue bands from the lower 48 and beyond. Union Square location means it caters mainly to pasty tourists, but wise locals are hip to the booking agent’s abilities. First flaky biscuits and fried chicken, then Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers blowing your mind. Nuthin’ wrong with that. Happy hour jam sessions Fri-Sun from 3:30 to 6:30 with free live music and cheap drinks. Boo yah.

Biscuits & Blues

Posted by edieokamoto on Monday, September 01, 2008

Biscuits & Blues provides the best of Blues. It hires world-class musicians who can be experienced in an intimate setting. The service is friendly and the food superb. It has a full bar. What is great that it can be visited by the entire family. It is suitable for a date, for a experience for the entire family and you can take your parents there to remember the good old days with the live music of their favorite songs. A San Francisco experience that should not be missed!
