Park City » Restaurant » Prospector/Park Proper » Japanese
Technically two distinct properties, the fact that you can order interchangibly from both menus at either axis means its one place in real life. Oh, and thank God for real life—Blind Dog is the crown jewel of a city that loves its sushi and knows the difference. Same deal with the devil as other Park City fish joints means Blind Dog’s sashimi is teleported from the ocean to your face. If you’re ordering off the grill menu, get the in-demand New York Bleu Cheese or crab cakes. If you’re eating at/off the sushi bar (Blind Dog has a solid wine/saki selection, so who knows), don’t ask this review—ask the sushi chefs. Blind Dog’s knife-wielders are notoriously gossipy, tipsy and willing to work off the cuff to make you something special, just ask. Be charming, get better food—welcome to Park City.
