Editorial Review

Slightly less hectic than across-the-street blues neighbor Kingston Mines, this place is just about as old, with a distinguished acumen of local and bigger-name performers (Eddie Shaw, Eddy Clearwater and Otis Clay, for starters). It's offered live music seven days a week since 1979 but with its long-lasting legacy comes the simple "bluesy" comforts of crashing beer bottles together and smoking till you're blue in the face.
