Bombay Bicycle Club

A cut above most of the capital’s Indian restaurants, Hampstead’s Bombay Bicycle Club, which also has branches in Balham and Holland Park, specialises in bringing the best of Indian cuisine to a clientele who expect more from their curries than fiery spices and a dodgy stomach the next day. Beautifully presented dishes include tender tandoor-cooked lamb in an onion and garlic masala, and marinated chicken sauteed with peppers. Accompany it all with ice-cold beer.
