Bonanza Gifts

Editorial Review

The Bonanza claims to be "the world's largest gift shop" and, indeed, it seems to have devoured an entire strip mall. The range of merchandise is just as vast, from the sublime to the idiotic. T-shirts with the retro logos of expired casinos like the Stardust and the Desert Inn and linen-backed vintage postcards of 1940's showgirls surrounding an awkwardly grinning Ronald Reagan. Then, of course, there's the vast array of plastic penis-adorned bachelorette veils and baby onesies emblazoned with "Don't leave me in the car: It's hot!"
