Want some good, authentic Puerto Rican food? People come here from all over the city to buy the city's best jibaritos. They're sandwiches made between two pressed green plantains and filled with marinated, mouth-watering, slow-roasted steak (or chicken, pork or . . .). And the chicken soup's better than anyone's mamacita makes. This restaurant is a staple in Humboldt Park, known for their plantain sandwiches, ceviche and pretty much anything fried... mmmmm.... gotta love it.
