Despite a tendency towards shrieky co-eds, strong cologne, and collar poppage on weekends, there can be some genuinely bright musical lights here worth checking out. From DJs to stand-up, from hip-hop to punk and metal, the programming is schizophrenic, and the crowd is more OMG than LBD. Weekends can be off-putting, but if you're feeling fratty one afternoon and need the saftety of bros, pool and a punching machine, you're never alone with (the) Bourbon.
