BlackBook Lowdown

Didn’t take a set of brass balls to figure out the MePa needed a solid spot for unpretentious quaffing. Emerald Isle vibe, seasonally shifting beer menu, watermelon margaritas for pleasing girly-girl dates. Pub grub begins with Irish breakfast, works through burgers, bangers and mash. Expertly poured Guinness, or max out efficiency with the beef and Guinness pie. Dual rustic rooms, lots of wood beams and panels. Choice picnic table boozing when the warm weather kicks in.

Nothing really special about this bar. Everything was wooden, I felt like I should be throwing peanut shells on the floor at a cheap steakhouse or something. All of a sudden Bon Jovi livin on a prayer came on and the bar became frat-tastic... that was about enough for me.
