Music is the heart of the Brass Monkey. Whether it's open mic Tuesday nights, New Talent Thursdays or established local/regional talent on Fridays and Saturdays, the M in Monkey is for music. Typical drink specials include $2 domestic bottles and buckets-o-suds. Depending on the act the crowd can get rowdy from time to time, but 9 times out of 10 it's just real chill local flavor, perhaps with a slight hint of nutmeg.
