Phase two in the Palermo Greenpointification of Colegiales has arrived in the form of a shiny new resto-bar with a hipster DJ dance night. Formerly a chain restaurant or German-themed pub (we can't remember which, the neighborhood is seriously in flux right now), Bretannia Bar is a sleek aspiring nightlife kingpin in its current incarnation. From its white leather booths to its imported booze, it knows what the local population so desparately craves. One third of indie darlings KRMPCK is running his own show here, titled Sweet Night, which means plenty of skinny, bored-looking boys and girls to flirt with on Thursdays.
