No this two-storey bar is not further proof of Toronto's alleged New York inferiority complex. Instead, the towering booze den is named after co-owner Zak Keller's pet cat. But don't expect feline-themed murals either. This is a straight up rock n' roll bar, with the top of the bar covered in Rolling Stone covers, old school guitars mounted on the walls and large prints of various rocker babes everywhere. Though it's been branded as a neighbourhood rock bar, complete with a menu that includes poutines and burgers, the cheap booze has ensured Brooklynn's place among its West Queen West neighbours as a destination spot for 905ers and college kids looking to hook up.
