Buddakan

Editorial Review

Conspicuous. Consumption. Stephen Starr's sixth-borough export catering to overflowing MePa mobs scarfing down fusiony dim sum, chow fun, and crispy pork belly cubes. Despite mega-scene, food, like tea-smoked chicken, actually doesn't suck, and service is aces. Stunning, mansion-esque space able to accommodate every single person heading over to Kiss & Fly and Tenjune later, all at once. Sit down to a table of thirty in the "Chinoiserie" great hall two stories high and remember: chew, swallow, chew, swallow.
