Irish coffee’s American birthplace, so popular even the locals mingle amongst the tourists, and so much cred that in the shadow of tacky Fisherman’s Wharf this place still has soul to spare. Opened for business in 1916 with the patina to prove it. Claims to serve up to 2,000 boozy coffee treats a day, so grab a seat if you can, watch the show, and have at least two for tradition’s sake.
