Located in a vintage bungalow off Fremont Street, the Bunkhouse has an odd, movie-cowboy decor and mixed clientele. Punks, rockabilly greasers, blue-collar dudes, dreadlocks, local artists, rednecks, and foreign tourists turn up for live music that runs from hardcore to reggae to country, depending on the night of the week. The Bunkhouse also has a 24-hour kitchen that serves up such beer-soaking plates as chili cheese fries and Frito pie, which is nice in a neighborhood full of bars. If you've already staggered back to the room, that's okay: They'll deliver.
