The awesomeness of Lure Fishbar’s burger has been an open secret for years, so spinoff joint seems a natural progression. “Winepub” is the aspiration, with a chalkboard menu and top-flight comfort food. Burger comes in four forms, with signature combining caramelized onions and bacon jam. Short rib ravioli, roast cod, and fried Cornish hen, too. Low-pretense touches like shot and a beer specials (Bulleit and Six Point IPA, God bless ‘em). Laidback space like a rec room of yore, done up in wood paneling and vintage tile.
