Memorable, exotic flavors bridging Chinese, Indian and Thai, in slightly faded room dominated by Asian arts and crafts. Great samosas, eggplant curry, catfish chowder, pumpkin pork stew. Crunchy Tea Leaf Salad with imported Burmese tea leaves a tactile treat. Cool the spice with a Burma Cooler: beer mixed with fresh lemon and ginger. Line forms outside, so bring a warm sweater (especially in August). Everyone from couples on cheap dates to raucous groups.
